As a service technician at VIMAB, you will mainly work with servicing valves in the field at customers or in VIMAB's own workshop.

You need to have technical skills and interest. A suitable background could be as a service technician or mechanic. You may have studied industry or the automotive programme. In our recruitments, we place great emphasis on personal qualities and a willingness to learn.

To thrive in the role of service technician, you need to enjoy varied tasks and customer contact. You are a social problem solver and are orderly, careful and responsible. You are not afraid to take action when needed and are able to be away from home for periods. A B driving licence is required, as travel is part of the job.

Training courses such as hot work, traverse and forklift are an advantage but not a requirement.
